Useful knowledge
Be able to read a C# method, record, interface and project reference. Agent variants use async/await, using/IDisposable and CancellationToken. Clients and hosts have an owner: using disposes a direct client; the Generic Host disposes its services. Ctrl+C requests cooperative cancellation; this does not provide process isolation.
Read and validate data
JSON is an exchange format; a deserialized object can still contain forbidden values. Automated tests let you replay these counterexamples without a model. For SQLite, understanding tables, keys, parameterized INSERT and SELECT is enough: the local database makes effects visible without installing a SQL server. SQLite and SQL Server share an ADO.NET style, not all SQL or concurrency rules.
Machine and model requirements
Build the complete solution on Windows with PowerShell 7 and SDK 10.0.402 from global.json, including its WPF requirement. Initial restore needs NuGet access or an already populated cache. Reading the course and default Demo010 require no model. Other demo pages identify live calls. Embeddings are required only by commands that use them; backlog foundations do not need them.
