Limits and reservations
Interpret evidence, execution modes and reservations of the teaching baseline.
Objectives
- Teaching scope and unestablished qualification
- Fixtures, determinism and live calls
- Interactive acceptance and outstanding publication decisions
What an experiment establishes
The course teaches software boundaries: untrusted data, contract, rights, decision and observable effect. A successful demonstration establishes behavior for its inputs and configuration. It does not certify domain suitability, public-service security or general model quality. Describe tested mechanisms, dated campaigns and human decisions separately.
Fixture, determinism and live calls
| Mechanism | Scope |
|---|---|
| Determinism | A C# rule or scripted client makes the case reproducible. |
| Fixture | Inputs are selected; SQLite, MAF or MCP can still operate for real around them. |
| Live call | A provider produces observed output; model, settings, hardware and date bound its scope. |
A transport test with a scripted model can establish native orchestration without establishing semantic model selection. Controlled dense retrieval is not lexical simulation. Zero in a counter cannot replace missing provider measurement.
Qualification and independent decisions
The default granite4:3b candidate/judge profile remains unqualified. Independent human business validation is not established. Judge calibration, fixture validity and expected-answer isolation are distinct conditions from qualification. Final decisions must examine counterexamples and intended use, not just Completed or an average score.
Local resumption and production service
Demo320/470 decisions and unique effects are bounded to SQLite and registered identities. Local files remain editable and unsigned. Cooperative cancellation cannot revoke an already committed effect; lost acknowledgement does not authorize blind retry. Authentication, tenant isolation, backups, operations and remote effects require their own controls.
Reading and delivery reservations
Interactive WPF acceptance, actual 200% browser zoom and final independent approvals remain separate from automated checks. The site is delivered locally as a preview; deployment and remaining rights/publication decisions belong to the author. Search and final acceptance are handled by subsequent lots.
